A special species of spider was found by scientists. These spiders live around shallow rivers, lakes and ponds in Florida. The spider can swim and walk on water. They eat fish larger than them. The size of spider is around six centimeters in average. The hair on their body trap air bubbles that they use to breathe underwater and waiting for fish. They have been known to stay underwater for more than 30 minutes at a time when hunting in the water. The spiders take several hours to eat the fish. Once they catch the fish, the spiders go to a dry area to eat them. A lot of these spiders are also seen in North America.
