A local government in Berlin, gave an avatar robot to a sick boy named Joshua. He is seven years old and has problems with his lungs. Therefore, he cannot go to school. This robot helps the boy by sitting in his place in the classroom. Due to his lung problems, he has a tube attached to his neck. The Avatar robot has a light on its head. Every time he needs something, the robot’s light blinks. A few other children also had similar problems and this robot. The children talk to him, laugh with him and sometimes even chat with him during the lesson. Avatar can give that child who suffers ill a chance to remain position of the school community. “I like either way because I like the avatar” one student said. “I would like if Joshua can really come to class.” another student said. This robot is useful to all children who have similar problems.
